The eddy current sensor is a non-contact linearization measuring tool that can measure the static and dynamic relative displacement changes of the metal conductor to be measured from the probe surface, and can measure non-contact, high linearity and high resolution.
During the use of the eddy current sensor, when the relative displacement between the metal to be tested changes, the Q value of the coil in the probe also changes, causing a change in the amplitude of the oscillating voltage, and finally is converted into a voltage after a series of processes. And the current change, the measured distance is analyzed according to the performance of the eddy current displacement sensor.
The eddy current sensor is widely used, mainly because it has the characteristics of non-contact continuous measurement, and also has excellent performances such as small size, high sensitivity, and wide frequency response.
